By accessing and using Salon Booking ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, salon owners, massage therapists, and others who access or use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Salon Booking is an online platform that connects customers with beauty salons, spas, massage parlors, and wellness service providers. Our services include:

  • Book appointments online
  • Make secure payments
  • Leave reviews and ratings
  • Manage bookings and preferences
  • Communicate with service providers
3. User Accounts

Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Update your information to keep it current
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.

4. Bookings and Payments

Booking Process

  • All bookings are subject to availability
  • Confirmed bookings create a binding agreement
  • You must arrive on time for your appointment
  • Cancellation policies vary by salon

Payments

  • Payment is processed securely through our platform
  • Prices are displayed in Swedish Krona (SEK)
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method
  • Refunds are subject to the salon's cancellation policy
  • Service fees may apply

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies are set by individual salons. Please review the specific policy before booking. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges.

5. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or service providers
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
  • Transmit viruses or malicious code
  • Scrape or data mine the Platform
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
  • Use the Platform to compete with us
6. Salon Owner and Service Provider Terms

If you list your salon or services on our Platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your services
  • Honor all confirmed bookings
  • Maintain professional standards
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Keep your calendar and availability up to date
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Pay applicable platform fees
  • Have necessary licenses and insurance
7. Reviews and Content

Users may post reviews and content on the Platform. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content. You represent that your content:

  • Is your original work or you have permission to share it
  • Does not violate any intellectual property rights
  • Is truthful and based on actual experience
  • Does not contain offensive or inappropriate material

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise inappropriate.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by Salon Booking or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any content without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Accuracy or reliability of information
  • Quality of services provided by salons
  • That the Platform will meet your requirements

We are a marketplace platform and are not responsible for the actions or services of salon owners and service providers.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SALON BOOKING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Salon Booking, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiation
  2. Mediation (if negotiation fails)
  3. Arbitration or litigation in Swedish courts under Swedish law
13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
